This week has been pretty relaxed, I took the week off to spend some time with the kids and to sort out my passport that expired during lockdown.
Time with the kids was fun, the passport renewal…well, that sucked, but it’s done now!

- Basecamp were in the news. I don’t want to go into the details here…read it and make up your own mind.
- Interesting article about Building Products at Airbnb.
- A free lo-fi wireframe kit for Figma shared by a colleague on Twitter.
- Interesting article on using Laravel Wave for a SaaS in 2021.
- This is going to be a big one in the future, the WordPress patterns directory is going to be a reality very soon.
Life
- I’ve plugged this before, but I’m still enjoying Endel, and very happy I purchased the years subscription!
- We first tried to renew our passports in Paarl, so my wife and I stayed overnight on Sunday at Laborie Estate. I can recommend it if you want to relax and are in South Africa! The Italian restaurant on the estate is fantastic – I recommend the Chorizo and Prawn pasta!
